Rabia Sucu is the President of Health Technology Assessment International Society (HTAi 2023-2025) and is a Senior Principal Technical Advisor for Health Policy and Financing in the Management Sciences for Health (MSH) where she leads the HTA and Market Access Cluster. She advises the SAFEMed project, which is a USAID funded and MSH led project that supports Ukrainian government. Her previous responsibilities in SAFEMed included to support priority setting and HTA institutionalization in Ukraine as well as overseeing the support around reimbursement, pricing, verification, and bioequivalence. Among her previous roles are Director of a hospital-based HTA center in Turkey (ANHTA), a professor of family medicine, national clinical quality coordinator of the Turkish Ministry of Health, member of the Pharmaceuticals Reimbursement Committee of the Turkish Social Security Institution, chair of the Eurasian HTA Initiative and President of the Turkish Evidence-Based Medicine Society. She has published over 150 articles, delivered over 300 presentations in conferences, and edited 8 books.
